A graduate of Hofstra University with highest honors in biology and psychology, he went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry, where he received an academic scholarship and graduated near the top of his class. He is board-certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and has cared for patients in both large practices and private settings.
Outside the office, he enjoys hiking, gardening, and exploring Connecticut on day trips with his wife and two children.
Known for his warm, approachable style, Dr. Ulc connects easily with patients of all ages—from children to seniors. He takes time to listen, explain, and create a personalized care plan tailored to your vision needs.
